Philadelphia (+1300 at Bovada to defend their title) grabbed the No. 6 seed in the NFC with three straight wins SU and ATS, after Nick Foles took over at quarterback for the injured Carson Wentz. Then they earned a miraculous 16-15 Wild-Card victory over the Chicago Bears (–6.5 at home), where DT Treyvon Hester barely got a fingertip on Cody Parkey’s 43-yard field goal attempt at the end of the game, sending it wide left into the upright.
New Orleans smashed the Eagles 48-7 in Week 11 as 7.5-point home favorites, although that was before Wentz was put on the shelf with a fractured vertebra. Unlike last year, when Foles took command in Week 14, Wentz hadn’t been playing at an MVP level – no doubt still hampered by that ACL injury and his extended recovery process.
