MLB Odds – Dodgers, Mets Go Head-To-Head in Los Angeles

The Mets are slated to go with Steven Matz (1-1, 3.21 ERA), who allowed four runs, including three homers, on eight hits over seven innings of work in a 7-2 home loss to Washington. Metz, who struck out four with no walks, has won both of his career meetings with the Dodgers, posting an ERA of 1.50. He picked up a road win in Atlanta in his season debut on June 10.

The Dodgers will counter with Rich Hill (3-3, 5.14 ERA), who lasted just four innings in a 12-5 loss in Cleveland in his last outing. Hill was tagged with seven runs on eight hits, striking out four and walking two. The 37-year-old hasn’t fared well against the Mets in his career, going 0-2 in four appearances (two starts) with an ERA of 13.50.

Going into this series, the two had split their last 10 meetings, with six going under the posted total. This is their first series of the season.
